23. I have been without a TV for a year and a half now,
and I'm probably better informed than ever.

I do watch Keith Olbermann on the internet, as well as several other shows I actually want to see. But I am completely cut off from such idiocy as when Michael Jackson died, I gather the networks all went to wall-to-wall coverage, as if he were actually someone important. I simply got the news he'd died, there were possibly drugs involved, and I didn't spend more than five minutes on the topic.

I read a lot. I listen to NPR a lot. I listen to music I like a lot. I crochet and embroider and talk with friends. Who needs a TV?
