6. ChosatSur goes off the air

Esdras just announced Ch-36 will NOT broadcast any longer in protest to the harassment the station has suffered under the golpista regime.

He said it was not out of cowardice, but out of principal. That history will judge the golpistas for its assault on freedom of the press in Honduras.

It now has an advisory on its Internet site

http://www.cholusatsur.com/

Esdras did not say how long the station would cease to broadcast.

(This is bad because most of Honduras gets its news from Ch-36d and Globo. At least Globo is still on the air.)
