The mormon church. The catholic church. Pat Robertson. The National Organization for Marriage. Focus on the Family. The American Family Association. Every anti-gay spokesperson, every anti-gay organization who forments hate and lies against gay people. This heinous, horrible event is the final result of that hate.

I know some people here are religious. I know what I said is the proverbial "broad brush" against some churches. If my comment is deleted, so be it. But words have consequences. Dammit, they do.

I'm not in a mood to be tolerant to people like the Pope and the leader of the mormon church. Not after the past few weeks. Not after this horrific story. I'm...we're...sick and goddamit tired of being the victims of hate.

My thoughts are with the victims of this inhumanity.
