It is a message board, a tool I have found and use daily. I read the boards (don't respond much unless it something I am passionate about or feel I can contribute) , then take the ideas, thoughts, and, most importantly, INFORMATION I glean from this site into my actual community. I discuss threads I read here when I go to the bus stop with daughter, over coffee with friends, and with co-workers. You would be surprised how many of us lurk to get ideas to discuss around the water cooler each day. And how often that discussion has lead to action (letters to the editor, telephone calls to our Senators and Representatives, rallies, contacting the media, etc.).
