20. Church hierarchy is determined to prove its irrelevancy
and has for many years. Every time those celibate old boys start pointing their fingers at women and thundering about things they have absolutely no knowledge of, it's a miracle the faithful don't just get up and walk out.

Those old men oversaw the institutionalized buggery of children for decades, centuries if you count girl children. They have absolutely no moral high ground on which to stand.

Most Catholics are sensible people who use both birth control and abortion services when necessary and know the Bishops are talking through their silly hats.

The only wonder is that this hierarchy keeps being supported in any way at all, all the way up to useless at best and criminal at worst Rome.

It would be great to see Catholics take their church back from the corrupt men clinging to the vestiges of the Roman Empire.

Of course, I say the same thing about all the temples, churches, and mosques.
