and we were forbidden to use ANY school grounds, including staff email, to promote ANY political cause. I also served on our local LSC (local school council) and complaints of that nature were directed to us and we voted as to what action/recommendation should be taken. I'm not sure all LSCs have the same powers, but I think it's worth checking into.

Even if this particular teacher isn't found in breach of district policy, it may be worth reporting to the administration or LSC.
