8. Let us be honest, we aren't any better in some areas of our nation
Mountain top removal in the Appalachia area.
Visit the Ohio Valley region and you will find small manufacturing facilities that pull the same bullshit.

We regulate emissions only because people eventually fought back, however most major chemical/manufacturing companies that existed in our nation had to be dragged kicking and screaming to regulation.

I look at those pictures of China today and it was what Pittsburgh looked like 50+ years ago. There was a time that people had to change their clothing twice a day in what is today "America's most livable city". However not far outside the city there are creeks that run orange with runoff from mines that are long closed.

Things can be turned around in China too, however it will take a lot of work.
