That's interesting. I wonder if this is a train that cannot be stopped, a la the civil rights battles of the 50s and 60s. I am willing to bet, though, that this will be the next abortion-style hot button in the next few federal elections, which is going to put Democrats in a mighty sticky situation, because so far no major Dem has had the balls to back it. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out when candidates flesh out their positions.
