176.  I am so sorry.
My deepest and most sincere sympathies to you bluescribbler, I am certain I will never be able to grasp the depth of heartache you are feeling right now. I know it must be painful beyond belief but perhaps you can find some solace in your bereavement. Although your heart is aching now, know that it is a good ache; a good hurt. Your heart is aching now because you were given the opportunity to spend half of your life with who I am certain was a remarkable woman. It aches for the time spent together, the love and the kinship, and the countless memories that you both shared. It aches, but your heart is full of memories of her, your friend, your companion, your confidante. It is full of her touch, her smell, her laugh, and her cry. They are forever kept in your heart, her legacy left to you. When you feel that sadness, look into your heart and unleash those keepsakes. They are her warm and gentle hands on your shoulders letting you know that everything is alright. Take solace, my friend, in the fact that now she is free from any more pain and suffering. Her physical self may now be returning to the good Earth from which we all come, but her spirit, her life force, her essence, or whatever you would prefer to call that certain "je ne sais quoi" that made her who she was, lives on inside of you.

Rest in peace, Stephanie.

and Peace my friend,
you will always find open and caring arms here at the community of DU. :grouphug:
