can't see that, I can't help you. He was given the chairmanship of a subcommittee that deals with Afghanistan and never called even one meeting of it. Not one meeting!

The honest thing to do would have been to resign his Senate seat and let Blago appoint a replacement.

Palin decided she could no longer be productive as governor due to the opposition she faced in lawsuits so she resigned and let her lieutenant governor take over.

As far as I know, Palin never held an office where she simply voted "Present" most of the time, as Obama did in the Illinois Senate.
