Declare victory in Iraq and bring our troops home.

And, if you're going to escalate in Afghanistan, then escalate by the amount of troops needed to get the job done you're trying to do. McChrystal says that will take around 70-75 thousand.

Either get in all the way, or get out all the way. These "half-measures" won't cut it.


I cringe at this "cut off the dog's tail an inch at a time" strategy that we are hearing on everything from war to health care out of this administration. Cutting off a dog's tail an inch at a time keeps teh sucker mad for years.
