For the first year you pay nothing and then you pay it off over five years with zero interest. The maximum amount is thirty five thousand dollars. The small business administration handles it but your local bank will actually be the ones to give out the money. The SBA just guarantees the whole amount. The application forms are to the SBA though and they are over twenty five pages long. It is almost overwhelming but if you truly need a lifeline it may be available to you.
