Really there is no way to "connect on a gut level" which is feel-good shit about the reality of what BushCo left us.

Americans don't want to sacrifice ANYTHING to get us out of this hole. I'm MUCH more disillusioned with the American public (including the Palin "connecting" -- she's clearly an idiot!) than with Obama. God help him. They left the house on fire and scream about him using too much water putting it out.
