28. I think these guys should be free to live wherever they want..
But either have a chip implanted in them, or wear an ankle bracelet to track them for a very very long time after they are out 10 - 15 years. IF they can go that long without doing any further harm, perhaps then they just go on the list.

If people have tracking chips in them, it's very difficult for them to commit additional crimes and not be caught. "Oh, you weren't out at 2am at the local elementry school where the 10 year old was found.. funny, the tracking chip says otherwise dumbass".

If you don't want to wear a tracking chip.. then just don't molest and rape people!

Just my $.02

On the other hand.. i have a close relative who was accused of rape by his 12 year old step-daughter (who just happend to really resent her new step-dad who was enforcing rules). He went to jail for 11 years before he was released, and now has to register as a sex offender. He has never waivered from claiming that he was completely innocent (even though it would have gotten him released 5 years earlier).. but she's now claimed that 4 seperate men have raped her (always around the time they're about to dump her).

So, I do see the other side of the coin.. and some people are falsely accused. My relative sadly has to live outside of any city or town with a school (can't be within 2,000 feet).. and is black-listed even though he's been out for 4 years now and has never done anything (because he was innocent to begin with). I wish the former step-daughter could be held accountable.. but our system isn't set up that way.
