At that point, all bets are off.

It's an open question about whether the Bill would fall if the Amendment falls. Word earlier was that the bill was fine either way - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/07/house-health-care-vote-br_n_349468.html but I just read "no amendment, no majority for reform" on a tweet.

EDIT: I hear you on the anger, by the way. At the very least, it's a major league insult and a distraction.
