4. Most, if not all, of that email is a lie
I am a "welfare" caseworker. Illegal immigrants CANNOT get a social security card, nor can they get welfare, food stamps, or health care. I'm not sure about the driver's license. I deal with situations like this all the time. Children born in the United States to illegal parents CAN get those benefits, however, because being born here makes a person a citizen, regardless of the status of the parents (take THAT, idiot birthers!).

Here's a typical scenario: A family of five applies for the above listed benefits. The parents and two of the children were born in Mexico and are not citizens; the youngest child was born here. The only member of the family who can get a social security card and qualifies for benefits is the youngest child. A family of five American citizens with no income would qualify for about $550/mo in cash assistance, $650 in food stamps, and Medicaid for everyone. A family of four illegal immigrants and one citizen would qualify for $186 in cash assistance, $200 in food stamps, and Medicaid for the one child only. These amounts vary by location, of course.

As usual, people who post such emails are talking out of their asses.
