1. Schools need to do more and they need to start early
because some kids who have been horribly bullied have either taken their own lives or have gotten hold of guns and shot up the school.

I learned how to deal with bullies when I was ten, I snapped and put one into the hospital. It was overkill, but that kid never came near me again.

I learned to summon my inner crazy person and stand up to them, let them know I didn't care if I got hurt, I was going to do my level best to hurt them worse. Most of the time they backed down pretty quickly.

Being severely bullied has lifelong consequences in terms of later depression. Unfortunately, workplace bullying is now endemic and workplaces really don't care to deal with it, most of them are run by fools who thinks it increases productivity when in fact it does the opposite.

Bullies have to be identified early and stopped or they'll grow up to be adults who bully and teach their kids to bully. We need to break that cycle.
