31. The hippy haters sure came out of the woodworks
in this OP.
I have been watching a Gen M tribe(I call them neohippys my self) coming together next door for the last year.If they are representative of todays youth I must say I am impressed with what they are doing and where they are headed. These kids have drive, determination and the basic skills required to cultivate a cultural movement. They also have one other motivation-They recognize that unless they do something their generation is the one that will have to pay for the mistakes and fuck ups of the boomers and generations X and Y and they are resentful over the fact that they are expected to clean uo someone elses mess.(Rightfully so,imo.)
These are kids who grew up hearing the saying 'We are the ones we have been waiting on' Well guess what-They are not waiting anymore. They see just how fucked up our culture has become and are determined to change it.Just like their hippy forefathers.Only this time they have a chance at actually succeeding.
