one's grandiose opinion, imho, should stay in the filter zone. The OP has a cute dog and shared her video with the DU community, and the first post in the thread is a sardonic mocking followed up with a patronizing "nice try" participant ribbon footnote. You know, just because you *can* comment doesn't mean you *have to* when you KNOW your comments will be hurtful. This falls under the "Wow, YOU have a REALLY UGLY BABY! What!? I'm just being honest?! What?! What I say!?-- but WOW, I mean, she's really ugly. I guess not everyone has good genes, but good on you for trying." The OP didn't deserve your seemingly Ignatius J. Reilly haughty mockery and derision. She really didn't, but your burning need to express your *honest* opinion seems to supersede letting something that most people, if they were unimpressed or annoyed, would pass over and move onto another thread, but you really needed to insult OP, and not slightly, but really go for it.

I've read enough of your posts to know how I will now be decried as a censor or anti free speech or some other nasty something for other for this, but whatever. You have every RIGHT to post whatever you want, but you can really look like a jerk in doing so, and you have. I'll already concede that you'll have the last word, because I've already said my peace about this.
