concerns that I have (and that we all have) about the direction this
country is headed.

I didn't sense "desperation" at all, but in a sense all of the
candidates are "desperate" for our votes, because they all want
to be President. During their time in Iowa--try to meet and speak
with as many Iowans as possible. Edwards has criss-crossed the state
and is constantly talking directly with Iowans. Biden is remarkable
when he speaks one-on-one with people. So many people walk away
from his small events, as converted supporters.

Everyone understands that these people are politicians. We all
know that they're schlepping for votes. However, it's empowering
to meet them, talk with them, ask questions and challenge them--
as we make our decisions. It's all we can do!
