Now that I also have your attention, see the graphic here, week-by-week comparison of documented civilian deaths:

http://www.iraqbodycount.org/database

(Lynyrd_Skynyrd's Original Thread on U.S. Troop Deaths is here if you are confused as to why this is not a sex thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x2432530)

It is December the 9th. 260 Iraqis have died thus far in December, not counting today. 1,100 Iraqis died in the month of November.

Did you know this? If you did, it's probably not because of the most mainstream media and pundits.

The graphic shows that DOCUMENTED civilian deaths have fallen in the past month to the levels that were sustained for all of 2005 and even some of 2006. So now, the documented civilian death toll is no longer UNFATHOMLY DEVESTATINGLY HELLISHLY HORRIFIC, it is only DEVESTATINGLY HELLISHLY HORRIFIC.

To paraphrase Lynyrd_Skynyrd:

It's Sill The War, Stupid.
