106. cleaning out industrial grease vats

As a teenager, I had a job that included emptying grease vats for large restaurant chains. The hot smelly stuff was so disgusting, that often when I emptied it, then pushed the sludge through the receiving bay or basement or backroom --- all folks would scatter as someone yelled out "grease coming through".

Anyway, imagine melted fat sitting in containers for months...can you say --- GROSS!!!

This was in Georgia by the way - so the smell was only compounded by the GA heat and humidity.
