5. During Clarence Thomas confirmation for a supreme court judge
Anita Hill who was a professor or something like that, who used to work in the same office with him, came forward. She told about his sexual harassment. She said he used to photo copy his penis and shop it around to the women in the office. And I suppose she wasn't' the only one he might have harassed but she was the only one who came forward.

Congress shredded her. She wouldn't back down. But the confirmed Thomas anyway. That was the good old boy's club. The senate as much as said she was lying and they believed him. Of course the country didn't believe him, but as per usual we don't have a say in what the our lawmakers do.
