So I think that they do intend to move to step two in the PNAC plan to clear the deck in the middle east, that they first need to refund their Iraq blunder (another $50B, doesn't that bring it to about 250B this year alone?), then they intend to bomb the crap out of Iran. There will be some justifying event.
