I was talking to a right winger I used to work with the other day.

She makes about 40-50K and was crying about how taxes are destroying her and she can't afford anything. She is republican to the core.

Here is why she can't afford anything:

1. She takes vacations out of the country at least twice a year.
2. She bought WAY too much house.
3. She uses credit cards for everything.
4. She bought a new car - and bought too much car for her income.
5. She has no savings to speak of, nor does she make any attempt to save.

FYI - when I say "bought" above that means "financed".

She is in debt up to her neck.

Who's fault is it though? Everyone else other than her.

This is the common theme I notice among those who are so unhappy with Obama. It's HIS fault they are in massive debt. It's his fault their financial lives are in chaos.

Funny these people want to talk about personal responsibility, but have none themselves.

Me thinks though dost protest too much....
