Against "PIT BULL WITH LIPSTICK MOMS"!! [View All]

Here's something that I just received from a woman I know. She told me that anyone here is free to spread it around - The more, the merrier!

Dear Concerned Women/Moms,

I think it is time to redefine and rename the new "HOCKEY MOM" voting demographic the politicos have identified since Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, was chosen to be John McCain's running mate.

This new demographic should NOT be called "Hockey Moms." That label sounds non-threatening and I believe that many of Sarah Palin's beliefs are absolutely threatening to me as a woman, a mother, and a human being. In my opinion, this demographic should, instead, using Sarah Palin's own words, be called "PIT BULL WITH LIPSTICK Moms." The name needs to reflect the dangerous and threatening views that Governor Palin is asserting as McCain's Vice Presidential running mate in his bid for the White House.

As a mother myself, I for one do not want to be connected, in any way, shape, or form, with Sarah Palin's "PIT BULL WITH LIPSTICK Moms" demographic and what it represents. Sarah Palin is AGAINST so many of the fundamental rights and freedoms that American women have fought so long and hard to achieve for the good of our democracy. She is AGAINST Sex Education, AGAINST Reproductive Choice, AGAINST Birth Control, AGAINST Alternative Energy, AGAINST Separation of Church and State, AGAINST Freedom of Speech. And that is only a start. And even though she insisted that, as a parent of a Downs Syndrome child, parents of SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN would have in her "an advocate in the White House," Sarah Palin's record as Alaska's governor speaks otherwise, as she DECREASED spending in Alaska for Special Needs Children, even though her own sister was, at the time, the mother of a Special Needs Child.

This is my own personal "Straight Talk Express." I am calling it like it is. It's "PIT BULL WITH LIPSTICK Moms" to me. Spread the word.
