Pelosi knew they were torturing. No wonder impeachment is off the table, it would mean her resignation. She was BRIEFED in 2002.

Nancy needs to resign. Bush needs to resign. Cheney needs to resign. This is a scandal of EPIC proportions. Probably the biggest in our history. BOTH parties are culpable.

It is disgusting. Basically, the dems decided to protect their own political ass instead of exposing the torture. And, in turn, the Bush administration was able to blackmail them. There has been speculation for a long time the dems were being blackmailed, though most of us thought that it was their personal lives that were being held over their heads, NOT their own culpability in the Bush administration's torture policies.

It all fits. ALL of it. The dems can't impeach without bringing down their own leadership. Thus, they lose their entire ability for oversight of a criminal Presidential administration who have absolutely no scruples.
