Why 'everyone' hates Dennis: [View All]

Let's step back a bit. Many of us here at DU and elsewhere, assuming that there's intelligent life outside of DU, know that the one thing that each of these rabid RWers have in common is their peculiar brand of sexuality. Many theories have been proffered that the reason they've all been marching in lock-step all these years is that the powers-that-be have the 'goods' on this crowd and have threatened to release the information if anyone breaks with the group. This is the biggest 'untold' story in America right now.

What absolutely kills them about Dennis is that he's a dynamic intellectual guy, who's short, not necessarily a crime in itself, but not great among these 'giants' :sarcasm:, but there's the irony/rub: he's married to a brilliant, tall, gorgeous REDHEAD, who is by far the most interesting of the female spouses of the candidates (Bill Clinton of course, leads the gender-neutral pack in that regard). Their marriage reminds me of the Rob and Laura Petrie union: highly sexually charged but not overt or obnoxiously PSA'd. This just KILLS these guys who want everyone to think they're so manly when this guy is married to a 12 on a scale of one to ten. Here in Philly, we have a single, handsome, lady-killer baseball player named Pat Burrell, who plays left field - yes I know this is coming from left field, but give me one minute here to make my point - this guy spent much of his time here striking out looking, but his walk away from the plate was always tinged with "I may have struck out here, but I'm gonna get laid tonight, so what do I care?" This guy ran through single women here and probably on the road, like a lawn mower. Many of the male fans hated him for that look.

Dennis of course doesn't have anything to prove in that department. You can see the looks on the faces of the men who talk to them as a couple that even if they attempt to make a schmuck out of him for whatever specious reason, he gets to go home with her. And if you think that men don't envy that, you're missing a big point here. Forget the politics, these guys are so confused about their own sexuality including their own attractiveness or lack of same, that when they're faced by this couple, they're angry and jealous.
