Is it just me, or is breaking the law becoming government standard...

We all know Bush has done it countless times. Corporations are doing it - especially if it saves money and/or screws the little guy.

I just read the DU thread headline about Reservists being hit by creditors despite laws that protect them - and zingo, another broken law!

It seems that I find the government, corporations, and others breaking the law more and more often lately, and no one seems to care.

Bush sure has started us down a slippery slope with no end in sight. What's next, total anarchy? Pretty soon we'll all be reluctantly strapping on hand guns like they did in the old West just to stay alive when we go to the grocery store... That would be really bad for me since I don't like guns and couldn't bring myself to strap one on...
