They have quietly allowed the CIA to be bullied and circumvented as Chalabi's lies were routed to the New York Times and to the White House via the OSP (Office of Special Plans? Projects?) at the Pentagon.

They've let the CIA take the blame. They've sold out career CIA employees. They didn't complain when Plame was outed to the press.

I'm amazed career CIA employees haven't displayed more outrage. You know more than one of them probably has copies of everything from Bush's arrest record, AWOL military records, the abortion he bought for his underage girlfriend, and more. It surprises me someone hasn't got mad enough to leak the Abu Ghraib videos Hersch spoke of, where the relative of an interrogation subject was raped in the adjacent cell.
