They probably have already calculated the increased sales of menstrual products.

When particular pesticides were identified as possible culprits in breast cancer, one manufacturer bought a pharmaceutical company that made cancer drugs, then they started a pink ribbon campaign. With their "Survivor's Walk" they have encouraged women to become martyrs for the business plan.
