93. My biggest problem is the fact that this is a trial in a nation that is still...
under occupation by the United States, I don't think they are even capable of giving a fair trial for ANYONE, from the alleged thieves to even their former head of state. Its seems foolhardy to claim that they have sovereignty over even this issue when they can't even control half of what goes on within their own borders.

By the way, impeachment isn't necessary, no one I mentioned is STILL IN OFFICE, they are all "normal" civilians now, and should be prosecuted for their various crimes. I'm not a death penalty advocate myself, but I won't shed a tear for Saddam, nor do I think he is innocent of anything he was accused of, but too many things were swept under the rug, I want to know if the United States government at the time KNEW WHAT he was going to use the weapons we sold him for. They KNEW he was going to use most of them against Iran, we already know that, just like we knew that Iran was going to use most of the weapons we sold them against Iraq, but the gassing of civilians? We didn't stop supporting him after that, so my question is, did we know he'd use them against civilians?
