10. I think that's the "fourth option" that Mike posted about yesterday
There was a post on The Old Sarge's blog, in which Sarge asked Kathy how much it would cost to produce Mike's show on HORN. Here's what he said:

I have been asked about getting Malloy on HORN and what kind of money it would take if his fans were to try and cover the cost. Here is the reply I got from Kathy Malloy on it:

"Hi Sarge,

Kathy Malloy here. I'll pass on the email (below) I sent Ben Burch about this issue a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for all you do,
Kathy

Mike can only take union jobs and the AFTRA minimum salary for a nationally syndicated host is around $140K per year. Add a producer/screener/board one person or two at another $60 - 70K per year. Mike's union is to be paid separately - 12.5% of his salary.

We have all the broadcast equipment, just need a studio built out in our basement (about $4K). That's the cheap part.

Then there would be satellite uplink fees, ISDN costs, and phones installed and concomitant monthly fees. That's not so cheap. I think just the satellite is around $5k per month. The ISDN is only about $100, but the rollover 800# lines would probably be another $2K per month. We've had plenty of free podcasting offers, so that's a freebie.

So I guess you could produce Mike's program - suitable for affiliate broadcast - for about $425K per year. Of course it would be cheaper if the program was attached to a network that already had a satellite uplink, 800 number and phone lines, etc, for their other established programs."

I didn't know that a radio program was that much money to produce.
