Voting for a Democrat on November 7, 2006...

...doesn't mean: I like the principles of this candidate.

...doesn't mean: I support this candidate profoundly.

It does mean: this candidate is better than the Republican.

If I don't like a Democrat running for federal office, I won't donate to him, and I won't volunteer for him, but I'll vote for him, anyway. I want a Democratic House and a Democratic Senate.

For local office, I'll vote for whichever candidate I consider better.
