62. First time I've heard someone else refer to Iraq
as a "meatgrinder." The very word I used during the Vietnam era for that insane waste of human life that demanded more cannon fodder every day, every year....

When it's all said and done, and we're looking back on this time in history, I wonder how many will be awash in REGRET as they realize how long this madness was allowed to run its course before something finally gets DONE about it?

RIP, Emily, if you can. You did your part, loved your country, and served it well. :patriot:
