57. Where's Mike Malloy when you need him?
He seems to make me feel better about all the screwed up things that are happening.
Somehow, just knowing that there are others that feel as angry as yourself (misery loves company?)
feels better. One of my democratic friends won't let me discuss anything political. Most people don't want to hear about it.
I try to channel my frustration. I call senators, email letters and this year I volunteered to become a poll worker. My county (contra costa) uses ES&S machines. They have a paper ballot (scantron) that gets read by a machine, so if someone wanted to do a recount or audit (hopefully by people-not just another machine)one could tell if it was correct.
My big fear is that the elections will continue to be stolen. There are a few people that I can discuss politics with, and I really appreciate them. Some sites, DU included helps too.
Anyway, I know the frustration of not being able to discuss the current craziness. My sister that lives in Ohio doesn't keep up, and whoever tells the most lies, has the most money for ads wins her vote.
In California, prop 89 is for publically funded elections. I think that is a great cause.
Also, something has to be done about that "liberal" media.
