Corpo-fascist economies don't work, but it doesn't follow that the only alternative is total socialism either. They haven't worked anywhere, not just Latin America. And in fact, no economy ever works without tranparency and participation from citizens. The Bushies don't like that, but neither does Chavez and anybody who wasn't blinded by hatred of all things US would see that.
