Did you follow the link to the entire transcript of Chavez' speech that personman posted on this thread in reply #28?

Here's the link again, in case you missed it: PRESIDENT CHAVEZ DELIVERS REMARKS AT THE U.N. GENERAL ASSEMBLY

It's an excellent, spot-on, truthful and powerful speech. Chavez, while he is certainly something of a showman, is no dummy. He has a clearer grasp of geopolitics than nearly ALL of our fellow propaganda-addled U.S. citizens.

If you are relying on U.S. corporate media soundbites of his speech to form your opinion, you are willingly allowing yourself to be blinded and fooled.

Chavez was NOT "spouting bullshit". He was making an impassioned plea on behalf of the common people of the entire world who long to be free of U.S. imperialist interference in their affairs.
