73. I did not know anything was wrong with her. She seemed fine and
one morning she wasn't. She looked lost and scared and couldn't walk, so I rushed her to the vet and her whole right side was paralyzed. The vet said she had a stroke, an aneurysm. It was horrible and I wasn't prepared to let her go. The vet said he couldn't fix what was wrong with her and said I could take her home and let her pass on her own, but she was suffering and scared and I couldn't let her suffer any longer, so I let him put her to sleep. I had her cremated and her ashes placed in a cedar box, which is on my mantle in the living room. Her sister, 12, isn't far behind her. She was only given 2 to 6 weeks to live back in March and she is barely hanging on.  to you and your girl. She sounds like a wonderful companion! It's a hard thing to go through. I will have my little Yorkie, she is 4 years old, hopefully I will have many more years to love her.
