• Contrary to the contentions of many on this board, Scholastic continues to stand behind The Path to 9/11 as an important educational tool. They have never wavered; they have never stated otherwise. All claims to the contrary are completely false.

• Scholastic believes that by providing students with a colorful version of the events which preceded the attacks of September 11, 2001, ABC Entertainment is permitting the future of America to choose which version of history will be taught to and by future generations.

• Scholastic will not be providing answers to objective questions prompted by any educational materials distributed in this regard. Scholastic instead has decided to refer to outright falsehoods as “important public questions” which “should be fairly discussed.”

• Scholastic has referred to the fact that there is no connection between Iraq and the events of 9/11 as a mere belief. Scholastic currently insists that The Path to 9/11 is a tool by which students can “study the background of events leading up to and following 9/11.”

• Scholastic’s Chairman, Richard Robinson, is currently invoking the 9/11 dead to justify Scholastic’s continued, unwavering support for this project.

• Scholastic and Robinson are attempting to rewrite history. The methods they are using are reminiscent of those used by Adoph Hitler and Joseph Stalin. The facts speak for themselves.

• Scholastic’s participation in this project has nothing to do with education.
