The holy Qabalah is just jewish mysticism, not dark or satanic at all; and its an important part of Masonic tradition:

Its well documented (not in conspiracy circles, but widely) that many of these people were masons, including founding fathers, and they always did things like lay the cornerstones to buildings, its not outrageous to think they would leave their mark in architechture (their traditional field) or urban planning.
