we can get along if you answer the questions I pose instead of belittling me and I think you're completely right about corporations. However, I think they have to be taken individually. Some corporations are parasitic, feed off their workers and do very little "good" for the world. Some are quite philanthropic, give back to the community and treat their workers with respect/provide a good work environment.

As far as to why I thought you thought name brands/advertising were bad...don't you think it can be inferred from the title of the thread?

All network TV sucks ass - because there are advertisments on it - thus advertising must be bad.
