6. Well, it's like NYC...
It has a reputation for being cold and hard (which I personally don't totally agree with), but no one can deny that New Yorkers don't know how to pull together when the shit hits the fan.

9-11 was a perfect example of that, and unfortunately, many of those people have health problems to show for it. Another example being the massive blackout in 2003 (affecting far more than NYC). Despite the blackout (and not knowing what it was caused by) and temps in the 90s, there was practically no looting and everyone just helped each other out.

I personally like to hope that the rest of the country has their shit together as well as NYC does.
