2. Variety of reasons for this obviously
Those of any true value are victims of 'rendition' and are sent to foreign lands to be tortured.

Many of the cases are so tainted by illegal actions on the part of Law Enforcement that their cases are moot due to violations of due process.

A handful have evidence that was obtained in an illegal or secretive manner and revealing the evidence would reveal the illegal methods, so the cases are abandoned.

The balance are probably trumped up charges for political or personal reasons, and could not be prosecuted.

This gubment's failure is stunning in every possible measure.

And watch, when one of those released actually does harm to an American, it will be the Dems' fault for not completely abandoning the Constitution and Due Process.

Why is it so hard to do things correctly? Clinton caught, tried, prosecuted and jailed those responsible for the First World Trade Center attack. How many have we tried and prosecuted again? I ain't good with numbers...
