2006 Roosevelt Reading Festival: Elliot A. Rosen

Elliot Rosen’s book, "Roosevelt, the Great Depression, and the Economics of Recovery" is a chronicle and an examination of the New Deal economic policies. At a symposium at the Roosevelt Reading Festival, historian and author Elliot Rosen explores the causes of the Great Depression and the consequences of President Roosevelt's economic policies. This event was held at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum and home of FDR National Historic Site in Hyde Park, NY.

Elliot Rosen is a history professor at Rutgers University and the author of "Hoover, Roosevelt, and the Brains Trust: From Depression to New Deal." He received his Ph.D. from New York University.
