a black man in the same situation would be taken straight to jail, and i have even known cases where a white man in that situation was taken to jail -- in one case, it cost the guy $400 (well it cost his mom that) to get him out of the jail
why is the mexican special?
the law should be the same for all peoples and driving w.out proper documents is highly illegal
most criminals are caught in the course of routine traffic stops anyway so don't even pretend that traffic cops have no authority to detain criminals

i'm guessing the mexican guy slipped the cop a hundred dollar bill or something when he showed him the "mexican" documentation
