Perhaps it was unintentional but this sentence: "Facts and actions are REAL, not rhetoric, and don't change from day to day" strikes me as condescending.

If you have some specific examples of "disparaging references to Kerry (which are) almost always demonstrably false", please direct me. Maybe I just haven't noticed them.

You accurately assert that facts & actions are real. Now hear this: opinions and objections are real, too. Simply dismissing others objections as "rhetoric" is shortsighted, irrational, and, even worse-- perilous to the Democratic Party. Haven't you noticed that exact same tactic backfiring globally (!) on the Reeps?

You're right about facts: they don't change. In fact, my opinion of JK has not changed since the run up to the 2004 Primaries. For the record, I'm about 90% Pro-John Kerry, universally. There is only one issue that Kerry & I MAY completely and vehemently disagree on--but it's a whopper. I won't know whether JK & I are in agreement until he announces or renounces an '08 Presidential bid.

This is DU. Nobody here haaaaaates Kerry. Many of us strongly prefer other potential Presidential candidates. Here's a final fact about Sen. Kerry's Presidential aspirations: I was FOR him before I was AGAINST him.
