63. The fact that news analysts and journalists aren't immediately
pulling back the curtain of deceipt re New Orleans and administration comments ("It's amazing") is more proof of near total media control. Real journalists should be outraged that they are being used as mouthpieces to deceive the public. This is one of the main reasons that the worst, most dangerous, most incompetent administration in history is still in office and why the november election will be close and why 35% of the nation still believes Bush is doing a good job.

How can real cameramen, producers, and journalists really just show the telecast that the WH wants to show? Can't they pan back to show the devastation on either side of the renovated houses? How can this stand? If this is happening on an issue like Katrina (close to home, not terror and fear oriented) then what does this say about the health of our media and democracy?

Hard to believe...but it consistent with how DSM, 2004 elections, Plame, swiftboaters, global warming, 9/11,NSA, Edmonds, and all the rest have been handled. I'm stunned. Someone has to expose the deceipt in primetime. DC dems have to express their outrage.
