Can John Mark Parr be charged with obstruction of justice?

If he was deliberately misleading and lying to the police for his "15 minutes of fame", then he should be charged with obstruction of justice. You don't have to be guilty of the crime being investigated to commit obstruction of justice. He wasted a lot of the police's time and resources with his incomprehensible, moonbat rants. I'm not saying that he is definitely guilty of obstruction of justice, but it's something to look into.
