While we are all agast that the govt was shocked and did not know what was going on (even though CNN and every reporter was standing knee deep in water and shit), we begged the govt to do something. Few of us got off our asses and actually went in and picked those people up and brought them out of there. Now, we begged, "please do something, please do something". The govt said ok, we have no choice, we have to declare a martial law. And it happened, on the streets of our citizens we declared martial law on New Orleans. There was a suspension of all rights regarding our citizens.

How about that. Next time our fellow Americans are in need. Don't wait for the govt to declare martial law. You may end up in Gitmo yourself.
